System substructure with acoustic decoupling on a megayacht

Fulfillment of increased vibration control requirements

Requirements

  • Large-scale layout of a system substructure below the deck to create a basis for simplified mounting of systems without time-consuming installation of individual brackets.

  • This project had higher sound-proofing requirements; all systems had to be attached with acoustic decoupling.

Implementation

  • The combination of the MPR-Support channels with our Dämmgulast pads and Dämmgulast pipe clamp linings created a stable system substructure with acoustic decoupling, which could be used for mounting all systems.

  • We provided support for the construction with weld and support channel layout plans and bills of materials.
